Every guide on this site follows the same shape: a short answer you can read in ten seconds, then the numbers, then the mistakes people actually make. Nothing here is copied from another fan site, and anything we could not verify is marked as unconfirmed rather than filled in with a guess.
Reading order if you are brand new
Begin with the first-hour guide, then the money guide. Everything else can wait until you have a vehicle.

How to read these guides
Prices and machine specs come from the Steam store page and the official patch notes for 1.0.3 and 1.0.4. Player-observed behaviour, like the $10 bonus for finishing an early hex or the way a Splitter refuses to snap near a machine, is labelled as observed play. Where the community disagrees, the guide says so instead of picking a side.
Because the game shipped on 23 October 2026 and was patched twice within two days, treat any guide without a patch stamp as suspect. Ours are dated and stamped for that reason.
